The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev pays special attention to development of preschool education, which is the first and important link in the system of educating younger generation.
According to the Presidential decree “On measures of radical improvement of management of preschool education system” and the Resolution “On organization of activities of the Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan” highly qualified educators and mentors, who will be able to execute our resolutions, will teach our children the basics of knowledge, the most necessary life concepts and skills.
Probably the most difficult thing in raising children is to make them do something. Especially if they are not very interested. If the child manages to state his speech and understand yours correctly and clearly without any problems, you can proceed. Let's start with the possible types of games:
Group (in class, in group);
Individual (paired with the parent).
Both types can be mobile games, or games for attention, speed of writing, logic, etc., which do not require physical activity. The main goal of the first is socialization, because it is here that the child learns to communicate with other people, find friends and learn the rules of etiquette. Among other things, such games can raise the team spirit and introduce rivalry, which often motivates the child to perform the task better, faster.
English games for two
Colors. Give the command “quickly touch something red” — quickly touch something red. You can complicate the game and give the command to bring something — bring me a blue book — bring the blue book.
Opposites. You just need to call the antonyms to the English words: men — women, white — black, etc. To make it a little more interesting, you can throw the ball and call antonyms.
Where is it? The game is interesting because you can play hide and seek with different objects and repeat the prepositions and the names of the objects in English. While we turn away, the child hides, for example, a book and we have to find it, following the instructions — look at the wall, on the shelf, next to the lamp (look at the wall, on the shelf, next to the lamp), etc.
Dress me up. A fun way to repeat the names of clothes. We ask the child to wear a coat, a hat, etc., but do not remove the previous item. We play, while there will be nothing left to wear, or simply nowhere.
What am Idoing? Afun way to discharge. We show the child how we walk or dance, and his task is to describe what we are doing. For example, you are dancing, you are walking.
As many as you can. We take a big word or phrase, from which you need to come up with as many English words as you can in 2 minutes. The winner is the one who came up with more words (make sure all of them are spelled correctly).
Can you draw? The game will allow the child to release their fantasy. You can repeat the names of objects, giving the opportunity to draw what we called in English, for example, a bear or an apple. You can vary the game — give color and sign on the English picture, which we prepared in advance. These works can be hung around the house and then repeat the already studied words involuntarily, because the child will surely bump into them with his eyes.
What is missing? We develop attentiveness and repeat the names of objects. In front of the child we lay out several objects (or show him a room with objects). Then we ask him to turn away or leave the room, after which we remove one item. The task of the child is to name the missing item in English.
This list can be a very long time to replenish the types of games, it would be only time for all these classes.
The game of lotto «Couple» was created specifically for preschoolers. It will expand the understanding of the world, vocabulary, improve attention and memory. This game can be played like a lotto, as well as used for teaching English, since the names of the fish are given in Russian and English. To play a couple of cards you need to mix and put on the table image down. Players take turns raising two pictures. If the pictures are the same, the player takes them for himself. If the pictures are different — the player puts them in place, but he must remember them. Knowing the location of the pictures, he will be able to lift the same ones and take them for himself. Wins the player who collected more pairs.
To sum up I came to this conclusion, we must create new activities for children of preschool education, that’s to say using pictures and interesting interactive exercises, using sets of words, watching interesting videos in English, and even repeat the grammar.
