The level of moral excellence in civil society defines the moral culture of citizens. Ethical culture includes several aspects such as mastering society’s ethical experiences of the individual and using those experiences in relationships with other people, self-improvement on a regular basis. In short, moral upbringing is a sign of a person’s moral progress. Therefore, this article is devoted to the moral importance of national values in family upbringing.

Key words: extended and nuclear family, moral upbringing, treatment manner, family education, personality.

The definition of the word “family” is that a basic social unit consisting of parents and their children, considered as a group, whether dwelling together or not. [1.] In other words, the family is a place where a child is born, grows up, nurtured and steps forward as an independent person to the society. Here the concept of upbringing is of great importance in the development of the individual. The theory of moral education is the social demand of morality and to apply it to life in the interests of learns the tools and techniques. [2.] Family values, sometimes referred to as familial values, are traditional or cultural values that pertain to the family's structure, function, roles, beliefs, attitudes, and ideals. In the social sciences and U. S. political discourse, the term «traditional family” refers to a nuclear family — a child-rearing environment composed of a breadwinning parent, a homemaking parent, and their normally biological children; sociologists formerly referred to this model as the norm. A family deviating from this model is considered as a non-traditional family. However, in most cultures at most times, the extended family model has been most common, not the nuclear family, [3.] and the nuclear family became the most common form in the U. S. in the 1960s and 1970s. [4.] One thing is certainly accepted that whether it is an extended family or a nuclear family, all pay special attention to the moral upbringing of children. After all, moral culture is a structure that contains several elements of the culture of moral thinking. It appears in one person in the relationship with other people. One of the most important elements of moral culture is treatment manners. It is essentially one of the forms of cooperation. It is impossible for humanity to live without cooperating with each other, to live honestly without experience, without interacting with each other. Treatment is necessity, it is need, healthy person may be mentally distressed, depressed without it.

In this regard, it is enough to recall the famous novel “Robinson Crusoe and his adventures” written by Great English writer Daniel Defoe. Robinson was so happy, because of finding Jumaboy. Etiquette requires to replace the dignity of other people, compliance with traditional normative requirements. At the same time, it is distinguished by demonstrating the good qualities in a person. It’s the brightest, the most meaningful and the most expressive occurring side happens through the word, speech. The ability to speak and listen, the culture of conversation is important aspects of the treatment. So, treat manners, first of all, sweetness, modesty, meekness, demonstrates ethical standards such as kindness.

Another reflection of manners is the human look. It is well known that in the human gaze of man, the hand in facial expression.

Education is a practical pedagogical process aimed at the formation of certain physical, mental, moral, spiritual qualities in a person; a set of measures taken to ensure that a person acquires the qualities necessary for life in society. For every person, being educated begins in a family. Initially, educating people in nuclear family become parents, if it is extended family, both parents, and grandparents, aunts and uncles are considered as educators. Upbringing is an eternal value and the oldest thing that ensures human humanity. Neither any individual nor the human society can exist without education. Because the values that ensure the existence of man and society are passed from one generation to another only because of education.

In the pedagogical literature the term «Education” is used in a broad and narrow sense. In the broadest sense, education is the sum of all influences, actions, aspirations aimed at the formation of the human personality, its active participation in the production and social, cultural and educational life of society. In this sense, education includes not only the educational work carried out in the family, school, children's and youth organizations, but also the whole social system, its guiding ideas include literature, art, cinema, radio, television and others. Moreover, the concept of the broadest sense consists of education and knowledge. In the narrow sense, education refers to pedagogical activity aimed at the development of a person's physical development, worldview, spiritual and moral image, aesthetic taste. This is done by family and educational institutions and public organizations. Education and training are not included in the narrow sense of education. However, any upbringing process exists only in close connection with education. This is because in the process of education and knowledge, not only does a person's knowledge increase, but also his moral qualities are accelerated. Education is crucial in the life of any society and any country. The country may be doomed to stagnation and crisis if the younger generation, and society in general, is not sufficiently engaged in education For the production of material and spiritual wealth in any society for its growth and development, it must rise steadily. To do this, the younger generation must be able to cultivate material and spiritual wealth at the level of their ancestors, and better than them. In order to develop such material and spiritual abilities in the younger generation, the society must have a system of continuous and effective educational institutions.

In Uzbek culture, there are several national values to educate young children in a family, such as patriotism, hospitality, faithfulness, loyalty, respect older people, respect parents, love their motherland, courteousness and etc. Family plays a key role to train such valuable and unique national values in society.

Moreover, English families are also famous for national values. In English culture

A new study of almost 2,000 modern families looked into the moral and practical guidelines set by parents today and revealed a host of old fashioned values which still have a place in modern households. According to 76 % of parents, table manners is the most important value we teach our children, followed by being honest and truthful (73 %) and respecting your elders (69 %). Although 69 % claimed the values they grew up with as a child still resonate today, a further 75 % claim they have created a new set of family values which fit with modern life. According to the study by Beko, modern day family values include the importance of recycling (53 %), healthy eating (48 %), no iPads or iPhones at the dinner table (46 %) and respecting other religions and cultures (44 %).Other important values for families include equal childcare for both parents (36 %) and equal distribution of the household chores (31 %). Not fighting over the remote control (29 %) and not snooping on another family member's Facebook account also made the list. [5.] Doctor Becky Spelman commented on his research «It's interesting to see how important manners are to our values as a nation. Teaching our children good manners isn't about imposing adults' will on them, but about equipping them with the social skills that they will need to navigate a complicated world”.

«Just because we conduct so much of our life online, that does not mean old-fashioned manners, such as helping out with household chores and eating dinner together as a family aren't just as important. Children who learn how to behave in a way that respects others' boundaries are being taught how to manage social situations in a way that will stand them in good stead for life”.

The research found that 96 % of Britons believe that strong family values prepare children for a happy and successful life.

To sum up, morality plays an important role in human development. The great thinkers of the East considered the moral development of man, his all-round development, the formation of his spiritual image as one of the important factors in the development of society. In the process of human moral, spiritual and enlightenment development, society develops in the same way as it passes through various historical stages — from ignorance, ignorance to science, from evil to goodness, from savagery to humanity. [6.]In short, family is an important unit that transmits the national values of the nation to the future generation. Therefore, the moral importance of national values in family upbringing is great.
