The effectiveness of integrated socio-economic development of modern Turkmenistan is achieved by taking into account strategic planning. Doing so contributes to the effectiveness of the implementation of the priority directions of the national economy by conducting a macroeconomic policy that is compatible with the country. Strategic planning serves as a quality indicator of government regulation, and means choosing long-term priorities and integrated management of resources to achieve set goals.
Strategic planning is a particularly important area for Turkmenistan. Because if you have multifaceted resources, you need to set specific long-term goals and then develop the necessary measures to achieve them in reality. Establishing and evaluating competitive directions for the development of any object is an independent value for regulation and is carried out during strategic planning.
Establishing and developing the ways and means of regulatory influence of the state on the development of the national economy can serve as the main tasks of the macroeconomic strategic plan. The main task of the state at the macro-economic level is to identify the areas that should be prioritized in the current situation of the world consciousness of the Turkmen people and the ways of their development, as well as to create favorable conditions for their implementation.
At present, powerful foundations for stable and long-term development of Turkmenistan are being created. State regulation of the main socio-economic phenomena is the basis for carrying out large-scale reforms in the country, the prosperity of the economy and bringing the standard of living of the population to the leading world standards. When these activities are implemented, the main tasks of regulation in the future should be determined on the basis of the objectives of the state policy on strategic planning of the development of Turkmenistan.
Today, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, the Department of Strategic and Sustainable Development, which is part of it, is the main state economic institution that develops proposals for normative legal acts on economic, policy and strategic planning and implements the decisions of the Government of Turkmenistan. The ministry is subordinate to the President of Turkmenistan.
The expenses of the central office of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan and its local offices are financed from the funds provided for in the State Budget of Turkmenistan.
The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan supports the Constitution of Turkmenistan, the laws of Turkmenistan, the speeches of the People's Maslahat of Turkmenistan, the speeches of the President of Turkmenistan, the decisions of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan in its work and carries out its work in cooperation with other ministries, departments and authorities of the country, cooperation and leadership in the development of strategies for socio-economic development of sectors and regions, ensuring their effective implementation.
